With the deepening of the curriculum reform, the diversification of primary teaching materials of morality and society has become increasingly notable with the character "one curriculum standard, but many different textbooks". At present, more than10 versions of primary morality and society textbooks have been compiled according to the "full-time compulsory education curriculum standards of morality and society (trial version)" . And on the occasion of the new round of amendments, the textbook "Morality and Society" is also being updated and revised.Thus new problems appear in the process of the curriculum reform, like what teaching material preparation and designation can better reflect the characteristics of the integrated curriculum; the characteristics of different regions and needs of students should be considered to choose the material close to the local life; whether the chosen content of textbooks truly reflect the society, so that students can have more comprehensive and objective understanding of the society; and whether the presentation of material is more scientific and more practical, etc.In this paper, the author selects three sets of textbooks of Morality and Society for comparisons and analysis, which are separately pressed by the People's Education Press, Shandong People's Publishing House, and Jiangsu Education Publishing House. The three sets of materials were all examined and approved by the National Primary and Secondary Teaching Material Committee, and were the main versions issued nationwide, which can basically reflect the latest ideas of modern education.In this paper, the author specifically compares and analyzes the three sets of the textbooks in the following aspects: the overview of the characteristics , value orientation, content and structure, presentation ways, achieving goals, proportion of graphics and texts; and obtains inspiration in many aspects, such as the ideas of material preparing, content selection, presentation ways, etc, expecting they can be helpful to the preparation and designation of the teaching material"Morality and Society" and to some extent, provide theoretical reference in the setting and practice of the lessons.This author collects, collates, analyzes, and summarizes the existing research and dissertation. And the article is divided into four parts: the first part is an introduction, describing the background of this study, the significance of research and study objects and methods; the second part is the theoretical basis for the material research, discussing the function and meaning of the moral and social courses, as well as the specific material analysis and evaluation programs; the third part is the comparison and analysis of the three versions of"Morality and Society"issued by the People's Education Press, Shandong People's Publishing House, and Jiangsu Education Publishing House, clarifying the advantages of each version when referring them. The fourth part is the conclusions drawn by comparison and the inspiration to the compilation of the teaching material "Morality and Society".
