A Study Of The Educational Training Countermeasures For The New Generation Of Migrant Workers In Vocational College

"The new generation of rural workers" are migrant workers from rural area who were born in1980-90s. Now more than 100million new generation of rural workers have become the main currunt of migrant workers.The problems caused by them have gain wide concern of society. To solve the problems is the important part of building the harmonious society of ChineseCharacteristics. It is also important for our country to promote industrialization, urbanization,and the construction of new countryside.They can only do some simple and mechanical work and their professional competence is poor because they are less educated and their skills can't meet the requirement of the high-tech enterprises. At the same time, most of them come from the countryside and they are unfamiliar with the city. Their comprehensive quality compared with the city resident is not enough. So they can hardly make the reasonable flow and mix together with the city. The most efficient way to change the situation is to depend vocational education. It can improve their knowledge and skills help them adjust to ideological culture, knowledge culture, and institutional culture of modern commercial society, modern industrial enterprise and modern city. Thus, it will help them meet the requirement of the suvival in the city and being a standard new resident of the city.As advanced vocational colleges, they have the task of to talents training, vocational training and serving the socienty, at the same time, they have the duty and responsbility to train migrant workers skills This study provide some advice on the solution to education and training of the new generation of rural workers for vocational colleges.Firstly, this study explains the concept,the characteristics and the necessityof education and training of the new generation of rural workers, and then compares our transfer of rural labor force training with that of foreign countries. Based on this, the researcher takes "Working-Schooling Alternation" from hunan KJ vocational college as an Example for invetigation to find measures for education and training of the new generation of rural workers.
