This essay is meant to discuss how to determine the materials of the language to be selected and the designing methods of teaching Chinese knowledge by means of a series of researches.The trial edition of Senior Chinese in Shanghai has been designed in the framework of the new curriculum. After the use of the experimental edition and the revision of the framework system, it has formed a mature concept.
