Research On The Ability Construction Of College Counselors' Team

Counselor, as an important part of university and college teaching team, is a vital force struggling in higher education work for a long time. He plays an irreplaceable role in tightening up ideological and political education on the undergraduates, enriching their culture and sport life, carrying out education activities in various ways, etc. According to this paper, strengthening the capacity construction of counselors has great significance in improving career competitiveness, perfecting ability structure, and showing personal identity. The paper points out that as a counselor, who guides undergraduates'thinking, learning, living and acting, he should be a propagator of advanced theory, a practitioner of pivotal technology, an advocate of advanced culture and a learning-type talent of full development. Only by enhancing his own ability steadily, can a college counselor find a new way to ideological and political education and work out a scientific management method to students'behavior. Work under the principle of "All for the students" indeed, set up a believable image and consequently provide powerful support for the development and innovation of ideological and political education in colleges. Finally, in view of some problems existing in the ability construction of counselor team, this paper gives some suggestions on the basis of recent researches of scholars both abroad and domestic.
