A Study On Regulation And Adjustment Of The Partygovernment Relationship

The party-government relationship is the most fundamental and important politicalrelation among the Chinese political relationship system today. At the present age it isunavoidable to touch upon the regulation and adjustment of party-government relationshipeither in dealing with any kind of an important political relationship or in carrying on thepolitical reformation.In the new period the regulation and adjustment of party-government relationship is thenew assignment and the necessary choices for political development in China, and it is also theinevitable requirement in international political development. On the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and socialist theoretical system with Chinese characteristicsthe author presents his own opinions by following the fundamental principles of dialecticalmaterialism and seeking truth from facts. The thesis includes five chapters:Chapter one is the introduction of the thesis. It mainly analyzes the basis of title selectedand its significance, the research at present, the organization of the thesis and at last theinnovation point.Chapter two is the analyses on the basic meaning of the regulation and adjustment ofparty-government relationship. Through the analyses on the connotative and denotativemeanings, we are on the whole clear about the aim of straightening relations between partyand government. The aim is what state the party-government relationship achieves in order toactually realize the regulation and adjustment of party-government relationship.Chapter three is the analyses on the current situation of the party-government relationship.It includes three aspects of contents: the historical investigation on the problems of partygovernmentrelationship in China; the review of its achievements attained since the reformand opening-up; analysis on the problems existing in the current party-governmentrelationship.Through the analyses in chapters above, chapter four presents the historical necessity ofthe regulation and adjustment of party-government relationship.Chapter five is the main part of the thesis which explores the ways to realize theregulation and adjustment of party-government relationship. This chapter mainly emphasizeson the regulation of relationship between governing party and the National People's Congress,government, judicial authority and the Democratic Party.
