The Research On Strengthening Public Security Management Of Virtual Society

Nowadays, while the Internet is developing so fast, the virtual society, as the a new living form which exists parallel to the real world, is significantly influencing the real world and becomes the extension of the real world during the digital era. However, some law-breakers also focus on this field and, for political or economic purposes, endanger public security by targeting at or make use of the Internet.In this article, the author, through the analysis on the difference of management of virtual society and real society and the current situation of the public security management of virtual society in our country, points out insufficiency on the law promulgation and enforcement, the thought of legislators and cooperation among related government authorities.Meanwhile, the author also indicates the developing direction of strengthening the public security management of virtual society in China by, on the basis of relevant theoretical research on public management, analysing the current situation and experience of US, France, Singapore and Korea.Based on the above-mentioned analysis as well as research, the author researched into the effective ways of strengthening the public security management of the virtual society. The author regards that we need to take action in perfecting the law system, improving our management capability, strengthening the self-management of industries and increasing the public's awareness of citizen obligations. Only in this way, can we assure the public security of virtual society.
