As a fundamental problem of human survival, the food safety issue is crucial to a nation's survival and development.After 4th draft, the Food Safety law of the People's Republic of China was officially implemented on 1st, June, 2009, which symbol the beginning of the systematic legislation in the field of food safety in China.It is notable that in the newly enacted Food Safety Law, the content of Surveillance and Assessment of Food Safety Risks is put as the second chapter near after the general principles.
