The 17th National Congress of the CPC pointed out:we must speed up the Reform of Administrative Management System, and build servicing type government. The Reform of Administrative Management System is a major task for deepening administration system reform.We will press ahead with formulating an overall plan for the Reform of Administrative Management System.In keeping with separation of the government from enterprises and the principles of simplification, consistency and efficiency, we should continue to transform government functions, reorganize the government setup, clarify the functions of government departments, reduce administrative examination and approval, improve government management and the methods of management, introduce e-government, uplift administrative efficiency and reduce costs so as to bring about an administrative system that has standardized behavior and operational harmony and is fair, transparent, clean and efficient. Thus it can be seen that build a service-oriented government, which accords with the situations of our country and can also impel our social whole progress, is the main goal of governmental reform and development in our country.Currently, our country has gained great achievement in the respect of it, meanwhile there are also some issues that need to be resolved. This paper begins with the basic theory about service—oriented government,through analyses the current situation of the establishment of service—oriented government in our country, finding out some issues that need to be resolved.
