On Developing Countries And Regional Economic Integration

Since the middle of 1980s, regardless of developed countries and developing countries in order to adapt to the development trend of regional economic integration is actively participating in regional economic integration in the process of development of regional economic integration, and international organizations to develop rapidly.Since the 1990s, China has actively participating in regional economic cooperation. So far, our participation in regional economic cooperation is the Asia Pacific economic cooperation group, Asia-Europe meeting, "Bangkok agreement", China-Asean free trade area and the Shanghai cooperation organization, etc. China actively participating in regional economic integration, the economic development of our country will create a favorable peripheral environment and development space.To cope with the development trend of regional economic integration, developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America actively participate in the development process of regional economic integration and adopt a series of effective measures to deal with. Developing countries should comply with the rules of WTO and fulfill the WTO commitments, which make the WTO multilateral trading system to maintain the sustainable development. The integration of regional economy development brings serious challenges to the WTO multilateral trading system. To face the current trend in the development of the world economy, China should think seriously in participating in regional economic integration based on its fundamental conditions, and we should fully realize the influences that integration of regional economy development will bring to China. Currently, the WTO multilateral trading system parallels with the integration of regional economy. So, in order to make the strategic choice for China's development, China should weigh the advantages and disadvantages in the process of international economic cooperation and exchanges.The effectiveness of the regional economic integration requirements of each member area economic structure to complement and effectively implement relevant legal system. I think the most effectively organize or participate in regional economic integration is the way to strengthen APEC mechanism of operation. Therefore, China and Asean, in five countries in western China and adjacent to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions to establish regional economic integration, should pay attention to the construction of APEC mechanism, make full use of APEC members, advanced system formed complementary advantages and the developed countries. Moreover is considering between China and the United States, Japan, Korea, Canada, the establishment of a free trade area. Anyhow, China should fully grasp the integration of regional economy development opportunity, in order to realize the national political benefits and economic benefit maximization, in order to improve China's international status and set up good international image and fully using the integration of regional economy system.
