Religion is an important part of human culture and it has a decisive influence on the development of the society. Since the Tibetan Buddhism was widely accepted in the Mongolian plateau Buddhism has became the predominant religion in Inner Mongolian culture. As a result, which kinds of policies should the china's government to react with it has became a very important question to consider. The Chinese Communist Party is the ruling party in China, China's government should based on to the present national condition in coping with every religious problem.This paper is consists of five parts. The introduction part mainly explained the purport, theory and research method of this topic. The first chapter provides a general overview of china's religious policies in the differnet historical stages. The second chapter gaves a brief introducton to the historical background and important aspects of the previous inner Mongolian Buddihists Association Congress. The third chapter analised the characters of the present Buddhism and the evolution of Chinese religious poiicy. The conclusion part is a summry of this paper.Religion has it's own law of development, under the wise guidence of the party the Inner Mongolian Buddhism will be certain to accomadate itself to the development of the society and pay tribute to uphold its duties.
