Then the responsibilities of the grass-roots police organization in the US and Japan will be introduced, which can provide an effective reference to our country.The third part of the thesis is about the predicament of local police station's function. First, non-policing activities occupy a large number of police. It also deteriorate the community relations. Second, local police station will shoulder a heavy burden if it takes on everything about service and dispute resolution work. Followed, the protection to the policeman of local police station is not enough when they enforce law. It happens frequently that policeman are inveighed, insulted, malicious complaint, and even violent attacked during the law enforce procedure. Furthermore, the disharmony relations with the media deteriorates the external environment of law enforcement . Moreover, the police of local police station are generally in great pressure, which leads the job satisfaction of them are not good.The last part is about the solution of the local police station's function, which is the the emphasis of this article. First, non-policing activities, service and dispute resolution work should be regulated. Second, improve the legal protection system of police during the law enforce procedure. Third, establish benign interaction with the media, improve the external environment of law enforcement.. Furthermore, improve the quality of police station work by means of consolidating the social forces. In addition, establish a consummate monitoring mechanism. Moreover, set up routine-oriented training system. Finally, establish a scientific mechanism for performance evaluation and enhance the satisfaction of the police in order to exert the enthusiasm for work.
