Independent Colleges is one new model of higher education structures, it has been deveolping so rapidly since the establishment. However, in the process of development, on one hand, it is under the pressure of the Public Universities, on the other hand, it is shocked by the Higher Vocational Schools. If Independent college students want to survive in today's huge employment pressure and competitive society, they must have good expertise and comprehensive quality. Due to the fact that the time for establishment of most Independent Colleges is very short and the stength of establishment is not so strong, lots of students are enrolled with lower scores. Many students have strong comprehensive abilities but poor performance in their study, and some other students'collective consciousness is not strong, they are materialistic, lacking awareness of hard work, what's more, their view of life and career aspirations are too realistic for quick success, which increasingly complicate the work of the Communist Youth League in Independent Colleges.The Communist Youth League, the mass organization of the advanced youth which led by the Communist party, is also the assistant and reserved force of the Communist party. The Communist Youth League in Colleges takes on the whole situation of school and the task of promoting the young students'health. The work of the Communist Youth League makes up of one important part of the whole work in Independent Colleges. Compared with the Public Universities, the Independent Colleges starts very late and the Communist party's work just begins. Recently, the Independent Colleges is faced with the revolution of the society. As a result, for the Communist Youth League, it is still a question to adapt itself to the new situation. In order to fulfill the national requirements and finish the task of educating students'thoughts and quality, we need to do more research in the work of the Communist Youth League in Independent Colleges. Consequently, it is meaningful to conclude and study the work of the Communist Youth League, which can improve the development and make use of its function.The whole article can be divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the importance of the Communist Youth League in Independent Colleges. In this part, there are three aspects:First, it is necessary to improve the work of the Communist Youth League. Second, it is the needs to educate students'thoughts. Third, it is a guarantee to develop the Independent Colleges well. All of this is the start of the whole passage.The second part analyzes the present situation of the Communist Youth League in Independent Colleges. According to the research about some representive Independent Colleges, concluding the achievements of organizational construction, activities and Ideological education. And annalying the problems such as lack of working expenses, the instability of League Cadres, the role of the communist is not enough and the work is hard to organize. All of these are the emphases of the passage.The third part gives some suggestions to the enhancement of the work for the Communist Youth League. On the basis of the research in the academic world, for how to improve the work, we should optimize the external environment, guarantee the smooth development, accelerate the coordinated development led by the CPC. And there are four suggestions-- grasping the purpose of education, promoting the party's emphasis, fostering new ideas, enhancing the vitality of the work. This is a difficult point of this passage and also my creative perspective.
