Abstract/Summary:
With the development of computer hardware and software technologies, informationization is affecting step by step every area and part in social and administrative affairs, giving rise to fresh challenges and new requirements for the human resource management system functioning under the traditional concept and pattern. Against such a backdrop, it has become necessary for government departments, government affiliated institutions as well as corporate organizations to integrate modern information technologies into their human resource management, no matter such technology applications are forced or willingly accepted. China is in its early stages in transforming public administration through application of information technology. With the deepening of reforms implemented in the administrative system and the caliber management system, human resource management has made creative progress in public administration departments. In the face of challenges imposed by informationization, China's civil servant administration departments at all government levels are pressing ahead, from a new perspective of public administration, with comprehensive informationization to make civil servant administration more scientific. Guided by advanced human resource management theories, they avail themselves of the implementation of the Civil Servant Law, follow the experience of successful informationization in corporate human resource management and rely on the digital platform for government affairs.The dissertation starts from theory research and analyzes the current situation of informationization in civil servant administration. Through analyses of typical cases, it explores new ways of informationization in civil servant administration, attempting to give some feasible advice for the long term.
