Study On The Control Of Government Administrative Cost In China

Administrative cost is a qusetion for discussion which has an important practice meaning in the research field of administrative study.Influenced by traditional ideas, researches on administration costs in our country are unsubstantial and phenomena without considering the costs in administrative activities often emerge.Since last century,reforms in administrative activities in western countries aiming at reducing administration costs have obtained series of achievements:playing down financial expenditure,improxing administative efficiency and strengthening government's authority.At the same time it increases the pressure of China government's participating in international competition.By present,our government has realized the necessity of reducing administrationg costs and taken it as the goal of China's administration reforms.Therefore,to conduct a comprehensive and systematic study on the administrative cost of our country has a very important meaning for our country to deepen the reform of administrative and managerial system and form one that is fair and transparent,incorruptible and efficient and that can standardize the civil servants' behavior,coordinate the running of administrative affairs.Based on this purpose,in this article,the author explores the problem of our country's administrative cost.The thesis by using basic theories of administrative and management,and combining the basic methods and some social typical phenomena,the paper analyzes the status and reasons of the high administrative cost of the loeal government on the basis of the theory of the meaning, charaeteristie and faetors of impact of the administrative cost.To counter the existing problems of the administrative cost of our local government, I give some countermove to reduce the administrative cost of our loeal government,so as to establish an ideal standardized government that is demoeratic, effieient and low administrative cost.
