The Analysis Of The Problems And Measures Of Migrant Workers' Political Participation In Horizon Of The Harmonious Society

The hierarchy of migrant workers which is a large number of the emerging workforce, can not be neglected in process of constructing the harmonious society. And it also is an important sector in China when we carry out a study of political participation of civics. As a very special group in Chinese social transition, the migrant workers'orderly institutionalization of political participation is very significant in Chinese construction of harmonious socialist society. It will promote the construction of Chinese socialist democratic politics, and be an important force in development of the harmonious cities and construction of the new socialist countryside. Meanwhile it can safeguard their own interests as well as promote their political maturity. Despite migrant workers'political participation has had some encouraging developments in recent years, the whole Chinese migrant workers'political participation is far from an orderly and effective one, due to the institutional, legal, political and cultural constraints, the lacking of social resources and the migrant workers'own limitations. So how to improve migrant workers'situation of political participation, as well as to shift migrant workers'political participation to an orderly and effective one becomes an indispensable topic when research and solve the problem of migrant workers.In this paper, I have used the methods of comparative study, integrating theory with practice and more cross-disciplinary integration. The paper has analyzed the status and role of migrant workers'political participation in construction of the harmonious society,and investigated the current situation and problem of migrant workers'political participation. It has analyzed the causes of the problem and wished to find out the countermeasures to solve it. Then, we will make further aware of the importance of migrant workers'political participation in construction of the harmonious society. I wish the paper would provide some helpful reference in promoting the orderly and effective political participation of migrant workers.
