During the past 30 years, new Chinese emigrants from Chinese Mainland were on the increase.Their destinations expanded from Southeast Asia to the whole world, Africa included. The Emigrant Study has become more and more popular in recent. years, but the academic achievements on new Chinese emigrants in the Africa were not enough, the subject even be marginalized. My paper takes South Africa for example, investigates the status quo of new Chinese emigrants in South Africa.Chapter one is about the history of ethnic Chinese in South Afirca and migration tradition in FuQing area. Chapter two is to introduce the main ways of going to South Africa under circumstances of amicable relations between China and South Africa. Chapter three analyzes the causes of emigration by means of migration theories, tries to make it as soon as reasonable. Chapter four represents the status quo of Chinese Association in South Africa. Chapter five focuses on what problems may be confronted on their way of development.Finally my paper makes a future perspective on Chinese Association, the prospect of which lies in Sino-South Africa relationship, migration law and race relations in South Africa.
