Modern democracy system of capitalism made the European get rid of darkness, and lead human society to a new era with unprecedented development. However, the economic crisis happening in capitalism countries of 1930s cause people to rethink the shortcomings of traditional democracy. Most liberal countries began to reinforce the control in economy, and planned economy had been a political trend in whole world. Facing external and domestic transformations on political affairs, there is a controversy of "democracy and autarchy" in Chinese liberalists, focus on choosing the best form of government to unify the county.In this controversy, Zhang junmai put forward theory of "the third politics beside democracy and autarchy", also named "Revised Democratic Politics". He wanted to seek a balance between power and liberty, and add the advantages of autarchy to traditional democracy. This thesis tries to state and analyze theory of "Revised Democratic Politics", including the produced backgrounds, the theoretical foundation, the principal contents and value orientation of the theory, and points out its academic and political significance. To analyze the social class limitations of "Revised Democratic Politics", by comparing it to "New Democratic Politics". There are three chapters in this thesis:The first chapter introduces the produced backgrounds of "Revised Democratic Politics", including external political backgrounds and domestic social situations. The second part introduces the theoretical foundation, principal contents, value orientation and features of "Revised Democratic Politics".The third part evaluates the academic and political significances of "Revised Democratic Politics", and points out its class limitations and historic destiny.
