The Paradox Of Modernity And The Road Of Chinese Modernization

As a paradoxical structure, modernity is full of inter intensity. The modenity crisis have imerged in developed countries, and penetratated in various areas, therefore they constantly put forward various resolvents. While, China were in hot water when the passive mordenization made the anfractuous matter among the pre-modern, modern and post-modern. Once , we had a firn faith to avoid modernity crisis through the reformation of basic system, but lead us to a hard situation. Accoudingly, it has great significants to reflect the process of our mordernization and explore the path of it.Basic on the modenity paradox, this paper adopts the approach of putting forward problem, analysing problem and solving problem, to explore the right derection of Chinese modernization drive. From the perspective of crossing China and western countries, tradional society and mordern soceity, this paper pounders on the mistake of the Chinese modernization process. Beacause of our excessive forcus on the the basic system, the value and morden consciouness embodied in Marxism, originated from Western country, was negelected. While transforming into mordern society, China's modernity factor was not well cultived and deeply rooted along with the mordenization process.Harmonious society is a new pattern of China modernization drive in response to the obvious global modern crisis, which has got certain achievments. To China, modern crisis is a double problem. On one hand, it is necessary to improve the modernization process, on the other hand, it is imperious to cope with the deficiencies in the process of modernization. We need to treat the paradox in the modernization rationally. We need to conquer it while should has the understanding of the inevitable dismerits in any soceity. The paradox of modenity belongs to the social basic contradiction, and stimulating contrdiction of the permanent problems. It is proved that China resolve the paradox through construction of harmonious society is a path deserving exploration. Especially, it has the borderline in the operation of the hamonious society.
