Chinese rural labor to non-agricultural industries transfered, the migrant workers formed a special group of people in the industrialization and urbanization process. The article first defines the new generation of migrant workers, then summed up the general flow of labor force in the historical process, the role and development trend. And then,from the system, economic, social, and individual factors on four aspects of the flow of labor. Choose the text of the new generation of this particular group of migrant workers, comprehensive use of industrial economics, labor economics, econometric, demography and sociology different from the traditional method of studying their structural characteristics of the migrant workers, the role positioning and the interests demands. Explore these similarities and differences between the causes of economic and social role in the transition constraints, forecast trends, to promote the orderly flow of labor policy ideas on the promotion of migrant workers solve the problem with a certain sense.According to the author in Shenzhen Nanshan, Longgang District two research data and interview data analysis, from the formation mechanism and the analysis of the socio-economic point of a new generation of migrant workers into notable features.
