This study include two experiments.Experiment 1 focused on the presence of the postidentification feedback effect in a target-absent lineup under unbiased lineup instruction conditions.Experiment 2 focused on the presence of the postidentification feedback effect in a target-present lineup under unbiased lineup instruction conditions..The main results were:Experiment 1:(1)Feedback has shown significant influence on the eyewitness's confidence,Reflected lower confidence levels for control participants than for feedback participants.(2)Identification response shown significant influence on the eyewitness's confidence,reflected lower confidence levels for mistaken identification than for correct rejections.(3)The feedback×identification response interaction was not reach significant level.Experiment 2:(1)Feedback has shown significant influence on the eyewitness's confidence,reflected lower confidence levels for control participants than for feedback participants.(2)Identification response has shown no significant influence on the eyewitness's confidence.(3)The feedback×identification response interaction was not reach significant level.Experiment 1 and experiment 2:(1)The correlation between decision time and accuracy has reached significant level(.262)(2)The correlation between confidence and accuracy has not reached significant level.(3)The correlation between decision time and confidence has not reached significant level.
