The CPC-led multi-party cooperation and political consultation system is the political party system with Chinese characteristics. Democratic parties as a party involved in administration, its primary function is to participation in politics. As the international environment, institutional environment, social environment, socio-economic basis existed in China's political party system have taken place so profound changes, to adhere to and improve the party system, give full play to their characteristics and advantages, but also made many new practical issues And theoretical issues.In this paper, the main function of the democratic parties for the entry point, showing the history of the democratic parties and participation in politics and the status of political theory ; regarded the public management and politics theory as the theoretical support; analyzed the characteristics of mechanisms and development of China's democratic parties and participation in politics; at the same time, from both sides of subjective and objective indicated that the several aspects of this kind of mechanism need to improve. Only seem the people's interests as the common interests of the link of the ruling party and democratic parties, fully play to the role of all democratic parties, team work and to make more perfect participation mechanism, can make our country's prosperity as well as the life of people.
