The Al Saudi Family was the core of modern Saudi Arabia which was founded through many military tribe wars under the spirit of Islam. Saudi Arabia is a country which is covered by deserts and blocks. At the beginning of its foundation, its animal husbandry and agricultural economy took a lead place. At that time, the country was poor and far-behmd. The discovery of oil brought benefits for Saudi Arabian. The income from oil accelerated the economic development of Saudi Arabia and opened the door of its political modernization. The oil has promoted its economical modernization and requires the former political structures to transform along with it. The petrodollars improved the people's quality of education and the quality of the politics, which not only has provided a large number of high—quality talents for the government, but also has promoted the political development of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia's political modernization is not only influenced by the inner conditions but also by the outer effects, which was impelled by the domestic petroleum economy and simultaneously was influenced by the global modernization. (Particularly, America which is as its "friendly country" has a special effect on it.) Under the leadership of the first king of Saudi Arabia, all the kings tried their best to make the country gradually realize its political modernization.
