The Analyses And Assessment On Building Socialism Harmonious Society Of Jiangsu Province

Building a socialist harmonious society is an important part of the"11th Five Year"Programme. The paper assesses the socialist harmonious society progress of jiangsu since the"11th Five Year"Programme quantitatively and qualitatively through a indicator system includes 5 first-level indicators, 11 second-level indicators and 46 third indicators, then compares it with Shanghai, Shandong, Zhejiang and Guangdong. Quantitative analysis shows that: the general score of jiangsu's socialist harmonious society progress is 96.85(the total score is 100), has accomplished the good level in general, and most of the indicators has been achieved, some indicators achieve above standard; jiangsu's level is middle among the four coastal provinces and one metropolis, more than Zhejiang and Shanghai, less than Shandong and Guangdong. Qualitative analysis shows that, since"11th Five Year"Programme, jiangsu has made great effect such as promoting the overall coordination of development, the material basic of building a socialist harmonious society has been strengthened furtherly, insisting on the policy of enriching people priority, making effect to share the fruits of reformation and development for all the people. however, there are some problems like the regional development still exists unbalance, the income gap between urban and rural is enlarging, and the prices rise restrict residents'consumption level. The paper gives a series of policy guides for these problems.
