| With the rapid development of the economic globalization, the frequency of the international trade increases rapidly. Accordingly, the issues on product obligations among countries become more frequent as well including those related to the safety of products made in China. In order to protect the legal rights of consumers, most countries seek the methods to solve the problems through the legislation. However, differences exist in the regulations of product obligations among countries under different law systems owing to diversified social political and economical backgrounds. And since China's legislation in this aspect is still at the beginning phase and suspicion about safety of products made in China has not been lifted up, there is still a long way to improve in the future.In this thesis,the author do some research over cases in reality and analyze disadvantages of the product-obligation legislation in China by comparing some situations of China with those of other developed countries, which will contribute to the standardization and rationalization of our legislation system.The thesis consists of eight parts altogether. Part one to part five centers respectively on the legislation system, the definition and scope of product, the judgement stardard of product defects, the imputation principle of product liability and the injury compensation by comparing China and other countries. And particilar analysis is given on various cases rising in China-made belief crises in each of the parts.Part six is a brief summary of the disadvantages of our legislation and suggestions for improvement. Part seven brings up the realistic legal measures to settle China-made belief crisis, and the last part is conclusion. Through the legislation comparison between countries and investigation of the defects in China's product liability law, personal suggestions and proposals are given which has both theoretical and practical significance.
