Primary Study On Mongolian Herdsmen's Social Insurance

Social insurance institutions which represent human rights, social stability and development are an important part of social risk management and are buffer of social contradictions. Mongolia has a relatively perfect structure of social insurance with history of 70 years construction. Since 1990, Mongolia has experienced reforms from all-inclusive insurance payment one. However, only 22% of herdsmen have joined insurance because some herdsmen lack of information and money. Their living conditions are closely related to livestock industry. Amelioration of social insurance institutions has become a crying problem with increasing risk of livestock industry, ageing and dwindling households scale. Imperfect herdsmen's social insurance is social latent threat once countering emergency.This paper makes an analysis on every stage of social insurance institutions and summarizes advantages and disadvantages of the exiting ones.In the end, in accordance with herdsmen's actuality and Mongolian economic condition, this thesis indicates Countermeasures to herdsmen's social insurance.
