Fu Ssu-nien as a typical representative of the Chinese modern intellectuals, obeying in the Western free democracy political order all his life.His self-approval and the public image all locate in the liberalism intellectual, but his understanding to the individual freedom has not been separated from the Chinese tradition. As a liberalism intellectual ,he not only has the intense nationalism mood, but also has the social justice consciousness intensely. These neterogeny's value resources in his political ideas not only present the common values with the other liberalism intellectuals, but also present complex heterogeneous facing. This article is based on the liberalism, mainly revolves the three parts above in the Fu Ssu-nien's political ideas, and present the immanent reasons which cause the loses of Chinese liberalism.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduced Fu Ssu-nien 's thought course in the Early Years and as a backgroud revels the reasons which formed to Fu Ssu-nie 's political ideas; The second chapter and the third chapter mainly pay attention to his individual freedom and the society transform ideas. In 54 times, Fu Ssu-nien 's political ideas appears quite complex,both has the liberalism ,the nationalism and the cosmopolitanism; The fourth chapter mainly highlights the Fu Ssu-nien's intense nationalism consciousness under the national crisises. The intense nationalism mood not only Originates in the Germany nationalism,but also has the intrinsic connection with the Chinese historical and cultural traditions . Although Fu Ssu-nien cares about his Country's future and destiny, he never lost the value of the freedom in this time, his criticism to the government demonstrates the incapables of liberalism intellectuals in front of the centralization and the corruption; The fifth chapter mainly pay attention to the new liberalism political ideas which compromises the liberalism and socialism after the Sino-Japanese War.
