The Research On Several Problems Of Comstructing Digital Towed Artillery Battalion

Heavy caliber towed gun is the main traditional fire neutralizing weapon, which is still the main arms of our artillery by now. However, as the footstep of military information-based construction accelerating, the shortcoming of this traditional arming is becoming more and more obvious because of its slower firepower reaction, difficulty to connect with other firepower units, and difficulty to penetrate into modern battlefield command and control system. On the entire background of striding development from motorization to information for our army, how to make plenty of towed artillery to meet the requirement of modern war, highlight their command and control, fire-attacking, battlefield-surviving and compounding support abilities, they are some problems to be solved by our army.From 1999 to 2000, Our army carried out series of training reformations on the towed artillery group with a organic battalion. Basing on existing equipments, through kinds of methods such as "importing", "modify", the army trained specially on many reforming contents such as commanding control and the battalion fast occupies position and so on, got certain results.Draw inspiration from this training , The paper constructed a digital towed artillery battalion (DTAB) from target reconnaissance, intelligence processing, command and control to gun laying operation and service support of integrating, digitalizing, automating, besides, through contrasting and estimating the combating ability of the DTAB, it can get several results:(1) Analyzing the questions the artillery facing on the modern war and new requirements which digitalizing battlefield put forward to artillery, the paper put forward to the target and a general construction speculation of DTAB.(2) On the base of existing arms of artillery, the paper analyzed the need of artillery battalion, adopted several methods to construct an equipment system of DTAB, such as "integrating ","imbed", "additional", "complement", "importing" and so on.(3) Based on contrasting and analyzing the combating ability of the traditional towed artillery battalion and DTAB, the paper contrasted and estimated two kinds of towed areillery battalion by using blur synthesis estimating method and administrative levels analysis method, explained the importance of constructing the DTAB .
