The Research On The Genetic Engineering Security Law

In recent years, genetic engineering technology develops rapidly ,but .the biosafety law could hardly match the genetic engineering technology. In our country, public are ill-informed on biosafety law and the omission, the narrow, law enforcement, inadequate oversight bodies of the law make our biosafety legislation far behind the development of genetic engineering technology. And the development of genetic engineering technology can follow nothing. Thus, the sound of our biosafety legislation in the current is necessary and urgent.This article discusses the legislative issues on the security of transgenic technology and its products. This article introduces the actuality of law on genetic engineering technology in chair, compares the laws and criterions from USA, Canada, EU and Japan. Aiming at the shortages in China's legislation, This article provides suggestions on improvement of legislation system, in order to build a more effective law system to promote the development of genetic engineering technology in China.
