Study On Problems & Countermeasures Of Community Aged Providing & Security Status In Urban Area Of Jiangxi Province

The issue of aged providing and security is an essential section of harmonious society as well as critical one relating to the future of country, life of people, stability and development of the society. Since the reform and opening, economy has developed rapidly in Jiangxi Province. With the increasing of aging population in the province, the problems of aged providing have become unnegligible one existing in the social life. While the function of family aged providing is weakening in modern society, the traditional family aged providing model cannot be competent for the pressure of aging population and the organizational aged providing cannot satisfy the huge demand. Therefore, community aged providing will become an essential approach to solve the problems of aged providing.In this paper, using comparative study, case analysis and social research method. Based on using the experience of Europe, America and some other countries' methods about successful community aged providing and some domestic advanced practice, on problems existing in Jiangxi community aged providing, this thesis puts forth some countermeasures for perfecting the models of Jiangxi community aged providing. It also proposes that to make sure the responsibility and functions of government and community in community service and community aged providing to cultivate sense of community aged providing; to develop economy, increase fiscal proportion of aged providing spending, and improve capacity to count aging population, to set up funds raising model for community aged providing and security service with multi channels and united management; to train professional staff for work of community aged providing service, apply system of industry admittance, encourage volunteer for community aged providing, develop activities of volunteer services to improve the community aged providing service quality and professionalism; to improve related law, regulation and polity, enforce moral education, advocate for aged providing and respect in the entire society, and attract the power of society and develop industries of aged community service and care.
