RESULTS(1)Adaptation status of military personnel were different: Air-force were more adaptable than navy and army. The scale of behavior, emotion, interpersonal, environment and total scale are(3.55±3.08),(1.78±1.47),(2.45±2.06),(0.91±1.02),(8.71±6.12).Common soldiers suffered from less adjustment disorder than advanced officers, the total score and interpersonal score of the officers (9.67±6.93 and 2.86±1.92)were higher than the soldiers(8.41±6.08 and 2.40±2.02)(P<0.01).(2)Maladjustment had a significant association with social support and family expressed emotion,(r=0.228~0.423, P<0.01),and maladjustment was also associated with arms of service and the rank.(r=-0.089~-0.035,P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS(1)On the whole,air-force were most adaptable, navy were more adaptable, and army were less adaptable.Air-force were more adaptable than navy and army and common soldiers suffered from less adjustment disorder than advanced officers.(2)This study implied that social support and expressed family's emotion were the major influence factors of the maladjustment, and the arms of service as well as the rank were minor influence factors.(3)The MMQ was a quantification implement to evaluate military personnel's maladjustment.
