The Practice Of Deng Xiaoping's Ideological And Political Education Theory In Colleges And Universities.

In recent years, almost all the universities and colleges have attached great importance to the ideological and political education of undergraduates) and have made remarkable achievements in helping them build up ambitions and beliefs steadfastly and cultivate right attitudes toward life,world and beliefs. But some undergraduates appear to have little sense of teamwork and responsibilities,have little ability to undertake defeat and failure as well as increasing anxiety. It is of great practical significance to cultivate socialist constructors and successors of the new century through deeply and systematically analyzing and correctly grasping the ideological and political education theory of Deng xiaoping, and combining the undergraduates' situation to effectively carry out the practice of ideological and political education.Guided by the basic theory of Marxism ,this thesis uses such methods as comparison,analysis,comprehension and unifying history with logicality proceeding from the main contents of ideological and political education of Deng xiaoping theory, take Shanghai Normal University as an example, illustrates the work of ideological and political education of the university and the how teachers give such lessons to college students. Finally it discusses the experience and inspiration of practice of Deng xiaoping's ideological and political education theory in colleges and universities.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part discusses the major contents of Deng xiaoping's ideological and political education theory which are education of patriotism,collectivism and socialism. And the fundamental goal is to cultivate new talents with four virtures. Important methods are reasoning and persuading.The second part of the thesis mainly discusses the practice of Deng xiaoping's ideological and political education theory in colleges and universities. Firstly, the thesis analyzes the practical thoughts of undergraduates, then it takes Shanghai Normal University as example and illustrates that the university educate university students ideologically and politically through three medias: a series of activities of modeling after civilization,volunteers' schools to show love of university students and self management of dormitory rooms. On the other hand, the university conducts ideological and political education towards students by strengthening construction of an excellent team of teachers,improving teaching aids and methods and has made remarkable achievements.The third part discusses the experience and enlightening of Deng xiaoping's ideological and political theory in colleges and universities. The main experience is as the following: It is the core part of the job of the ideological and political education in university that we should always keep the important status of ideological and political education in universities, and ensure the political direction of the education and attach importance to the education of ambitions and beliefs among students. It is the major content of coducting the job of ideological and political education to strengthen education of morality,law and discipline in universities. Strengthening social practice is an important way of doing a good job of ideological and political education in universities. And building up a team of excellent teachers who are of good virtues and capabilities is to gurantee the good ideological and political education of universities. And the inspiration is showed reflected in two aspects: firstly, the job of ideological and political education among university students should be closely linked with practice and purposefully; secondly, innovation is needed during the process of education.The fourth part is the summary. It discusses the development of Deng xiaoping's ideological and political education theory in new situation. Firstly, the theory was inherited and developed by the leaders' group of the communist party of China with Jiang zemin as nucleus, it was mainly reflected in the following: the content of education of ambition and beliefs, important means of cultivating and training of the new talents with four advantages. as well as principles and rules of ideological and political education. Secondly ,the theory was further developed by the leaders' group with Hu jingtao as the core center of the Communist Party of China. It was especially reflected in construction of socialist value system and a series of important discussion of building harmonious culture will continue to guide the work of ideological and political education in universities.
