On The Political Leaders' Moral Commission In Contemporary Time In China

Political leaders are a special social group. Under the context ofpresent-day market economy in China and transformation of economysociety, the political leaders should develop a sense of morality,especially the sense of moral commission.Moral commission first refers to a sense of responsibility foradvocating, promoting and establishing morality on the basis of agood understanding of it; and then to the belief in defending andconsolidating it as well as the practical actions of doing so by virtueof a mind filled with awe and reverence towards morality,With the development of market economy and the process ofglobalization, and in case of a lot of challenges, the moral commissionfor our contemporary government is to combine the management ofeconomic, political and cultural affairs with the construction of moralregulations in the belief that the modernization of our country won'tdo without moral construction, which is an important part in the socialdevelopment. The main parts of moral commission include:founding the communist party for the public, and carrying out itsschemes for the people; being just and honest instead of taking briberyor corrupting; doing justice to people; keeping pace with the time, andmaking scientific developments; working hard and makingharmonious improvements; being dutiful, industrious and successful.In order to fulfill the sense of moral commission, governmentalofficials should build up a firm belief in it, and practise it throughtheir work which is done in accordance with the law, thus highlighting the charm of moral personality. Below are some specific instructions.Firstly, the governmental authorities should promote the sense ofmoral commission in the course of market economy. With innovativethinking and broadened thoughts, the authorities should carry forwardtheir moral commission and reinforce their sense of morality bykeeping pace with the time and making scientific developmentschemes. Besides, they should also be dutiful and work for people.Secondly, the authorities should promote it in their work done inaccordance with the law. They should keep in mind five concerns,namely, people, honesty, justice, loftiness, and service, and enhancefive systems, namely, the system of study, supervision, practice,competition and morality evaluation.Thirdly, the authorities should promote it through self-respecting,self-reflecting, self-warning, and self-encouraging, and they shouldalso pay full attention to the beginning and end of their jobs, theminor points of affairs, the appearance of things, the, ir desires andrights.
