By the impact of Knowledge Economy, Information Revolution, Market economy and Transaction Reform, the Ideological and Political Education is facing with unprecedented development opportunity and is facing stern challenge as well. Compared with other subjects, the education content of the Ideological and Political Education show more conceptualization and abstract. The education behavior has more compulsive, which makes the teachers and students tend to produce distance, forms the barrier even to occur resists. In this situation, hidden curriculum, the curriculum which natural related to moral education is more and more worth us pay attention to. Hidden curriculum with the form of indirect and concealable is reflecting social and the school moral education content and the request, civilizing influence on the students in ideological, political and moral.The paper consists four parts. Before Part One, I mainly illustrate it is the need of times to strengthen the Ideological and Political Education study.Part One: General introduction of Hidden Ideological and Political Education. In this part I start with the content of Hidden Ideological and Political Education. Introduced the meaning and conception development of hidden curriculum, then we got the conception of Hidden Ideological and Political Education as derivation. I analyzed content of the Hidden Ideological and Political Education in the fields of Matter, Interaction, Culture and System. In the first part, I cleared some basal conceptions.Part Two: The Situation of Hidden Ideological and Political Education. In the developed country, Ideological and Political Education is not only have place, but also efficient. It makes a huge contribution in maintain Capitalist System and educated much elite for their own country. It is necessary to make some comparative studies as we know there is Ideological and Political Education in the abroad. In part two, I take America, England, Japan and China as example for the reason of their representativeness, and introduced the situation and characteristics of Ideological and Political Education in these countries.Part three: The Basic Methods of Ideological and Political Education. Hidden curriculum is a kind of special curriculum; it has special curriculum design and method of exploitation. Teacher could base on the characteristics of hidden curriculum, to wake the hidden factor up which hide in the teaching process. Generally they are four kinds of methods: Culture Construction, Environment Optimizing, Just Community and Construction of moral education curriculum.Part Four: The Prospect of Hidden Ideological and Political Education. Hidden curriculum is not in the list of school classes, but it is not a natural affection. It is purposed, conscious and designed by the teacher. It is the trend of out curriculum reformation to pay attention to design and optimize hidden curriculum. In this part, I analyzed the superiority of Hidden Ideological and Political Education and the relationship between Hidden Ideological and Political Education and Dominant Ideological and Political Education.There is no method can solve any problem in the world, each of them got its own horizon and special skill. So each of them got its own limitation too, no exception to Dominant Ideological and Political Education too. To make Ideological and Political Education work efficiently, we should make Dominant Ideological and Political Education in close integration to Hidden Ideological and Political Education, make up for one's deficiency by learning from others' strongpoints. Make these two methods take the responsibility of Ideological and Political Education, create magnificently together.
