The Prevention Of International Terrorism Crime

The "9.11" Terrorist Attacks of 200t in U. S. indicated that international terrorism crime has become an important factor that seriously baffled world peace and security and a major issue that puzzled international community. Thus, preventing and combating criminal activities of international terrorism has become a common understanding and an urgent task of China and other countries. The definition of international terrorism crime, research of the origin and developing trend of international terrorism crime and solution of effectively preventing international terrorism crime are major issues we currently encounter. This paper attempts to analyze international terrorism crime from point view of law. Furthermore, on the basis of comparing relevant United Nations conventions with Anti-international terrorism crime laws made by all countries, constructive suggestions on how to prevent international terrorism crime are raised. This paper includes four parts in all. The first part is about the generality of international terrorism crime, which sets forth concept, characteristics, major types of international terrorism crime. The second part introduces causes and developing trend of international terrorism crime. The third part discusses the legislation status of international terrorism crime. The fourth part raises corresponding legislation suggestions and perfecting law system.
