A Study On German Foreign Policy Since Its Reunification

Nowadays, Germany is an important actor in international political stage. In accordance with changed diplomatic environment home and abroad, Germany has adjusted and relocated its foreign policy since reunification, in order to better serving its national interests. The adjustment of German foreign policy behaves as the formulation and implement of big power strategy predominantly; and the leading line of adjustment is the normalization process of German foreign policy.With a general-specific structure, this paper consists of four parts. Partâ… analyzes the changed diplomatic environment and German national strategic location. Partâ…¡,â…¢, andâ…£discuss and conclude the three Chancellors'foreign policy, namely Helmut Kohl, Gerhard Schr?der, and Angela Merkel respectively.Starting with development track of German foreign policy, this paper examines the three Chancellors'foreign policy, and explores German normalization strategy. The study on German foreign policy may provide some suggestion for Sino-Germany relations.
