On Marx And Engles' Ecological Philosophy Thought And Its Contemporary Values

The ecological problem is the existence paradox that the mankind has to face while enjoying material progress in the 21st century. Such realistic severity forces us to scrutinize the relationships between mankind and nature, looking for the good methods of solving the ecological problem from aspect of theory. Therefore, probing into the thought of Marx and Engels in terms of ecological philosophy and exploring its contemporary value has far-reaching meaning.Though Marx and Engels had not carried on the special argumentation to the ecological problem, but their philosophy thought includes the abundant and deep ecological thought. In practice, the ecological philosophy thought of Marx and Engels requires us to handle affairs according to natural law and solve the ecological environment problem faced in China's social development, offering the philosophy basis for sustainable development view of China.
