| Chinese retailing services opening to the outside world is the promise we made when entering WTO and it's a significant action taken by China that participates the globalization progress actively. However, Chinese retailing services is almost placed in an awkward situation with no suitable legislation after opening completely because of its legislation lags. Chinese retailing services will be in a passive situation when it faces the foreign retail industry entering completely without legal protection.Opening to the outside world doesn't mean to give up the protection. How to protect our country retailing services through its legislation? The thesis firstly analyses the shortage of our country retailing services opening's legislation on the basis of its present development situation, and then puts forward the solution through researching toward the rule of WTO and GATS and drawing lessons from foreign lawmaking experience to perfect the legislation on our country retailing services.The text is divided into five chapters besides the preface. Chapter one introduces the outline of retailing services. It analyses the present condition of Chinese retailing services from two aspects: opening progress and its influence, on the basis of clearing the meaning of retailing services. Chapter two mainly demonstrates the legislative condition and the problems on Chinese retailing services nowadays. It introduces the legislative condition of retailing services by researching Foreign Trade Law, the related regulations on foreign investment law of enterprise and on foreign investment retailing services.
