Pilot Study On National System Security Theories

After the World War II, especially the Cold War, confronting swift development of globalization, international communities have increasingly strengthened their studies on the complicated security situations, especially the national security theory and practice, thus various security theories such as Common Security, Co-security, General Security, Equipollent Security, New Collective Security, New General Security, etc, come into being.By analyzing these security theories above, the security strategies of major powers and security practices of modern people, we can easily draw a conclusion: Although politics, military affairs, economy, etc are still major factors concerning national security in current globalization age, there are other equivalent factors as diplomacy, science and technology, ecosystem, information, culture as well as society, also strongly affecting security issues. Confronting the increasing mingling of security benefits, diversity of security threats, expanding of security contents, multi-dimensions of security space, comprehensiveness of security means, compound of security mechanism and complicated national security environments and international security situations, we must regard national security as an inseparable entirety instead of an isolated, scattered, closed and stationary part; we must study it on a macro-global scale in a multi-dimensional, dialectical, comprehensive, systematical, transpositional and creative mode of thinking, omnibearingly and omnifacetedly considering any factor affecting national security; and we must flexibly utilize any method to regulate functions of those factors. Only by doing so, can we efficiently handle with the situation in which factors of traditional and nontraditional security threats interact to ensure the consolidation of national security and increase of its benefits.Based on such cognition, this thesis generally analyses the basic attribute, significance and effect of national security theory and its studying method with direction of scientific developing viewpoint, reference to developing histories of big powers and Weltanschauung of Marxism. Besides objectively and dialectically analyzing and studying security theory and studying method of both traditional and nontraditional nations, with Cooperation, co-exist, and common prosperity and Sustainable and peaceful mutual development as its gist, in favor of national benefit and security, international cooperation and co-exist, multi-cultural co-exist and mutual development, human peace and development, and creating a harmonious society ---domestic and international dual harmonies, this thesis applies system approach, cybernetics, modern administrative approach, etc, to thoroughly and systematically expound national security theory and its studying method and to creatively put forward new method and system concerning national security theory and its studying method in the globalization age.The innovation of studies on security theory is reflected in three aspects: First it assumes a new national security theory in the globalization age--- security theory of national system; second it scientifically points out the core factor of that theory: in the globalization age, national security system mainly consists of ten factors as political security, economic security, military security, diplomatic security, scientific and technological security, environmental security, information security, cultural security, social security and secure decision-making.
