| According to the realistic situation of reinsurance law system, this thesis explains and analyzes the basic concepts of reinsurance law.First, it points out the elemental connotation of reinsurance regime and its status on law. Then it expounds the essence of reinsurance contract, the application doctrine of reinsurance contract, the item of reinsurance treaty. After these, it assays some controvertial issues such as the application doctrine of unfavorable explanation in reinsurance contract, the rights of subrogation of re-insurer, the proximate amends request of insured in insurance contract.Second, this thesis summarizes the general situation of reinsurance regulation, the factors affecting reinsurance regulation, the content and the mode of reinsurance regulation. Then it predicts the tendency of international reinsurance regulation in terms of the practice of foreign reinsurance regulation.At last, the thesis clarifies the realistic situation of reinsurance regulation in China. Besides this, it is also to table some proposals on reinsurance regulation: drawing up reinsurance contract law, fortifying the regulation of commercial reinsurance, improving examination and approval of re-insurer, corroborating the rights of subrogation of re-insurer.
