Human rights have been a vital theoretical and practical issue across China and the globe. To enjoy full human rights is the common hope and striving goal of people in China and all other countries. In a sense, contemporary history of China is a history of fighting for human rights. This thesis is concerned with the study of human rights thoughts and practices of Communist Party of China (CPC) and Kuomintang (KMT) between 1921 and 1949. Based on concrete historical materials, systematical analysis, induction and comparison of human rights thoughts and practices of the two parties have been done in the thesis. Then, the thesis concentrate on carrying out an overall, deep observation and analysis of sameness and differences of the two parties in human rights thoughts and implementing ways, further summarizes and compares their specific features in human rights thoughts and practices, and finally explores their influence on China state fate. As a result, the reasons of the subrogation in reign power between the two parties is figured out, and meanwhile, the aim of taking history as a mirror is achieved accordingly.In accordance with the principle of historical materialism and integrating theory with practice and scientific spirit, this thesis does a multi-angular and multi-tiered study, analysis and comparison of human rights thoughts and practices between CPC and KMT. It is mainly divided into the following five parts:Part one is the exordium which presents a simple introduction of study motivation and status quo and some basic concepts of human rights.Part two and part three respectively outlines human rights and practices of the two parties between 1921 and 1941, then investigates and summarizes them from the three levels of state right, basic human rights and practice. In addition, brief analysis and conclusion is included.Part four conducts a comparative analysis of human rights thoughts and practices of CPC and KMT between 1921 and 1949, and obtains a clear and credible conclusion, which points out that the differences of the two parties in human rights thoughts andpractices, to a great extent, causes the changes of forces and people's favor to the opposite direction, and consequently exerts great influence on China state fate.Part five is a simple summary of the whole thesis.There are two innovative points in the thesis. One is the comprehensive enunciation and analysis of human rights thoughts and practices of KMT, the other is the systematical analysis and comparison of two parties in human rights thoughts and practices, and their respective characteristics. The thesis also reveals the root of the forces change between CPC and KMT from the angle of human rights, and interprets the inevitable trend of Kuomintang's losing and CPC's obtaining the reign power.
