The Second Nuclear Crisis of North Korea since 2002 has become the focus of international politics, as well as an important concern of China. The dissertation shows the background and history of nuclear dispute between North Korea and America at first. On the basis of that, the author interprets deep reasons for the Crisis and further explains the future of nuclear problem of North Korea. Meanwhile, the author comes up with personal opinion of how to handle with the crisis and what China should do. From the dimension of schedule and process, the nuclear crisis of North Korea can not be solved in a short time, and the deadlock can not be broken easily. The reasons that North Korea seeks nuclear weapon as the means of defense are set as follows. Because of prominent geo-strategic status of Korea Peninsular, America has stationed plenty of arms of Korea Peninsular and peripheral area, which makes North Korea in peril. Since the Cold War, the Security Institution of Korea Peninsular on the basis of cease fire pact of Korean War can not accommodate with the present situation. On account of weakness of non-proliferation institution of nuclear weapon leads to the problem that North Korea easily transcends nuclear threshold. The antagonizing attitude between North Korea and America has existed for a long time, which origins from deep distrust. This dissertation explores the reasons for bilateral distrust from the dimension of Constructivism theory of international relations.
