Based on the analyses and the summary of research and evaluation on the regional tourism Resource Of China, this thesis uses on the spot survey, information Query and internet query integrally, to investigate the regional tourism resource of Urumqi quite general, it also uses AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) analytical method to analyses and compute the resource evaluation of the regional tourism resource of Urumqi. So we mark off the value grade of the regional tourism resource of Urumqi. It makes people have a clearer cognition about the taste, grade, and Exploitation value. Through the analysis of tourist market of Urumqi, and the SWOT analysis of tourism, the developmental suggestion and collective conceit about the regional tourism resource of Urumqi are drawn. In hope that it can improve the regional tourism development planning, and offer more important consult about the Urumqi regional tourism. At the same time, it can provide some suggestions on Xinjiang or even the whole country tourism resource evaluation and development and the sustainable policy of tourism. The main conclusions are draw based on the above analysis: 1) The section of the evaluation about tourism resource Urumqi has got abundant tourism resource. It represents on: minority tourism resource has very strong attraction and monopolization; sightseeing resource is abundant; the category of tourism commodity is abundant and characteristic. Based on Hierarchy analytical method, the Urumqi tourism resource can divide into three grades. The first grade consists four, which occupies 20% of the whole tourism resource and are all folk custom tourism resource. They are the song and dancing of Xinjiang,characteristic clothes,festival celebration and minority consuetude and etiquette ; the second grade consists nine, which occupies 45% of the whole, there are four kinds of sightseeing, and five kinds of tourist commodity;the third grades consists seven, which occupies 35% of the whole, there are five kinds of sightseeing, and two kinds of tourist commodity;This shows that folk custom tourism is the most attractive characteristic tourism resources, it should be the important part of the tourism resource development in the future. 2) The section of the tourist market analysis Based on the tourist market competition model, thesis calculates the competition of enter a country tourism market and classifies it : (1) Thin dog market occupies 62%,the American market has resuscitated evidently. (2)Tad market occupies 23%,they are Malaysia,Singapore,Korea, etc, Their market has grown rapidly, it is very potential. (3)Star market occupies 7.5%, the Russia market is growing steadily. (4)Cash bull market occupies 7.5%, the Japanese market shows sustainable and steady rise. Therefore, the Urumqi tourist market of entering a country is mainly concentrate on adjacent countries, such as Russia, this mainly profit from the development of Sino-Russia frontier trade. At the same time, on the condition of the economic resuscitate, more and more people from Malaysia, Singapore,Korea, and other East Asia and South Asia countries go traveling ,the people who travel in China grows rapidly, tourists, distribution also grows steadily and rapidly. But it is noticeable that although the long distance tourist market in West Europe, North America and Oceania is potential,(such as Germany, England, France, America, Canada and Australia),the tourist gross is still in a lower level, it is the main reason that lack of sales promotion for long distance .if we strengthen sales promotion which aims at this market , the income will be great in the future. Based on the conditions of many data of hotels, the level of economic and the situation of traffic, the domestic tourist market is compartmentalized to three sections: the market for shopping and spending holidays in Xinjiang; the market for visiting of the eastern area and the market for touring and spending holidays of the western area. 3) Tourism resource integral exploitation conceit Based on group concept, we devide the Urumqi tourist market into two kinds: outside Xinjiang tourist market(include international market and inner China out side Xinjiang market)and inner Xinjiang tourist market.
