Intervention is America's diplomacy tradition.With the rising power of America,Intervention is gradually intensifying. The America's object is that it want to become theworld mistress ang realize the peace under the America. America is always catch all chance torealize hegemony. The world war â…¡is a good chance for America to govern world,but itactuates complexion between America and the Soviet Union,that confines America'shegemony.However, the Soviet Union's disintegration makes the coold war come to an end,America becomes a least powerful country in the world,so its ambition to govern world isexpanding, New Interventionism comes into being.Under the interventionism, Americaintervenes othes countries on and on by economic means,cultural means and militarymeans,these threat peace and development and law of nations. I begin to write from theevolution of new interventionism, emphasize on the showings and Influence of newinterventionism.The dissertation divides into three parts altogether:First part: the evolvement of American new interventionism. In this part, from the pointof view of history, the author analyzed that American new interventionism in fact is thecontinuation of traditional one. In American history, the consideration of interest and value isthe internal factor of American intervention outward, this was embodied enough during thestage from the Monroe Doctrine to attempt to encroach on world affairs after the World Warâ…¡. Although American aims didn't realize because of its limited strength, the originalintention of intervention didn't change. The World War â…¡provided chance for Americanintervention, but the contending for hegemony with the Soviet Union limited Americanleading length. After the Soviet Union's disaggregation and the Cold War's end, the UnitedStates threw the theory of new interventionism, which is new manifestation of conventionalone under the new internal and international situation.Second part: the exhibition and characters of American new interventionism. In this part,from the point of view of economy, culture and military, the author dissertated the exhibitionand characters of new interventionism. Using economic measures is one exhibition of newinterventionism, the United States has always used the instrument of economic aid andsanctions to control some countries. Using culture measures also is one exhibition of newinterventionism. After the Cold War, America paid more attention to culture's effect,attempted to united the plural culture world with itself value standard, and reformed the worldwith American fashion, thereby to realized cultural hegemony. Using military measures tointervene some countries is the highest exhibition of new interventionism. America advocatedforce very much, so he often interfered other countries internal affairs and violated itssovereignty, Kosovo War and Iraq War among them were the unprecedented crest of newinterventionism. This series of interferences in fact was the manifestation of Americanhegemony and the continuation of traditional one.
