The thought and methods of performance management is being paidmore and more attention by Chinese entrepreneurs. How to design andperform a set of performance management system, which is scientific and fitfor the characteristics of the company itself, is a fully new and importantissue. The procedure and methods in the performance management havemuch in common for the people in different positions of the company;however, the performance evaluation systems are not the same. This essayaims to set up a performance management system for salesmen based onstrategies, with the salesmen in Northern Textile Company as the object ofthe research.The first part of the essay introduces the basic theories of theperformance management, the second part analyzes the current situations ofthe performance management in Beipiao Textile Company, the third partstructures the organization duty system of the performance management inthe company, and the following part is the performance management systemdesigned for the salesmen in the company based on the thought of thestrategic performance management: At first, the essay introduces the settingup and decomposing of the organization's Key Performance Indication, thenit talks about the procedure design of the performance management, at last,it applies the result of the performance management to the plan for theinspiration of praise and punishment, and the workers'performanceimprovement.
