Nowadays, China mobile phone industry is confronted with intensely competition. It is well known that foreign companies take a large share of the mobile phone market previously in China. Compared to foreign competitors, Chinese mobile phone companies are weaker in funds, technologies and management. After China's entry into WTO,mobile phone producers of Japan and Korea also entered China's mobile phone market. Under this situation, weather a company will fail is decided by its competing strategies. Bird has taken the first place during the Chinese companies for 4 years since 1999, only behind Motorola and Nokia. The key points of Bird's success are its proper competing strategies. To begin with, the article analyses the successful competing strategies of Bird, based on the analysis of the situation of the industry of Mobile communication and the condition of Bird.
