| Professor Li Baowen put forward this new system of Maintenance of equipment and upkeep of equipment, namely, TNPM (Total Normative Productive Maintenance) on the basis of quintessence of Japanese Total Productive Maintenance, namely, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). Proper application of TNPM is advantageous to the improvement of product quality, economy in consumption, reducing of the cost, improvement of economic performance, bringing the initiative and creativeness of staff into full play and all-around development of economic efficiency of enterprise. TNPM is in pursuit of integrated efficiency and full effective productivity, and calls on all employees and all system to participate for realizing overall normalization. Under very good situation of global economy and enterprise reformation of China the application of TNPM in JZ Group Company conforms to the demands of times and industrial development and reformation development of enterprise and improvement of economic performance as well. Successful application of more than 100 enterprises and solid bases of manpower, financial resources and system culture, etc not only make the application of TNPM in JZ Group Company to be necessary, but also to be feasible. Combining such practical circumstances as low efficiency of on-the-spot management, serious pollution and waste, bad fixed place management and the accomplishment of employees is not very high, etc the paper analyzes emphatically this problem, namely, how to apply TNPM to the improvement of productive on-the-spot management in JZ Group Company. It proposed that to take launching the 5S activities of productive on-site as cutting-in point for improving productive on-site. In the light of guiding policy of "reliably spread for realizing continuous improvement of on-site in an all-round way"the plan, content, examination and evaluation system of 5S activities have been worked out,and in the advance such activities mode as all employees participation, normalizing content, visualization, rationalization proposal, etc and advancing measures are put forward. Finding and solving the pollution sources, clear difficulty source, fault source, waste source, defect source and emergency source are powerful motive forces for productive on-the-spot improvement.
