The Present study is a case study of Village L in City Z of Hubei province. It explores the relationship between the women labour movement and the change of the social gender and power, and it further analyzes the influence of the change towards the traditional country politics and culture by adopting the social gender theory of feminism politics and structural analysis.Social gender theory is the core of feminism. It is different from sex and it refers to a set of normed expectation and action gained by man or woman through social study. In the present study, power refers to the gender power, that is, man or woman, who's in the dominant and subjective position, and who's in the subordinate position. The gender who's in the dominant position has more power. By analyzing the power between man and woman, the existence of the social gender can be more strongly felt.In the present study, labour movement refers to the moving out of the local village and working in the cities or in the new area. In the movement of labour, the movement of women labour is of particular meaning from the perspective of social gender. Traditionally, women in the rural area are attached to the fiels and family. Compared with man, the country woman's horizon is much narrower, and they are the ornament of man. With the movement of women labour, women moves out of the family, walks out of the village, and gain a more relatively independent status, which will result in the change of the gender power. The present study finds that the cause and the process of the movement are all subject to the social gender, which makes most of such kind of women become involved in the low-technician and low-salaried profession. The movement also brings about the change of the women individual's ideology; the movement also result in the change of the division of the labour, the country women have gained more opportunity to develop themselves, and the position of women's has been raised. However, one fact can't be neglected:Although there are many changes, man still be the dominant and the owner of the social gender power.Farmers usually live in a village, and women's moving out and getting employed brings changes not only to their family and themselves but also to their village. The present thesis explores the women's moving by analyzing the interaction between the farmer, family, village and nation. As far as the institution and subject are concerned, if there were no the conditions provided by the institution, there wouldn't be the moving of the farmers. On the contrary, if farmers had no desire to move out, any institution structure is vain. As the village culture and the traditional political culture are based on the constant village, the moving will also has a great influence on the village culture and its political culture.Village culture, compared with urban culture, refers to the community culture shared by the community group on the basis of message (including the ethics and norms of behaviour). The farmers' political culture refers to the spiritual reflection or spiritual images of the historical inheritance and the real life, which has been formed in the process of economical, political and social activity of the history and real life. It is based on the settled farming economy, the village community, which is based on the combination of the blood relation and geographic relation. China is a nation of patriarchies, that is to say, the hierarchy is based on the age, gender. In China, the masculine parental authority and dictatorship is emphasized, the core is the parental system, father and son. The patriarchy can be found in the village culture and the farmers' traditional political culture. Moving can bring changes to the constant village culture and its political culture, the women labour's moving will have a much more influence on the basis of the patriarchies. However, the social gender concept has been deeply engraved in people's mind, to realize the equality between man and woman, there is still a long way to go.The present study begins with the exploring of the cause of the female labour in the village and the gender and power in the moving of the labour, and then it further studies the relationship between the female labor movement and the gender and...
