It is also the fundamental strategy to choose the right talent with the potential and to prevent and overcome employing unhealthy practices.Selection of the credibility in armed police command officers is good as a whole, but in recent years by the adverse social impact, the problem about selecting unfairly have been occurred in some units, which greatly affected the credibility of the selection. In this paper, the background of the status in the command officers selection and the example of the selection command officers in Chinese armed police force of Chongqing have been used to explain the specific meaning of the credibility in the selection and to carry out the significance of this research; in-depth analysis of the current commanding officers about the credibility of the selection situation, the selection of the ancient and modern thought on the credibility of the selection command and police officers, clarification of the historical experience of the heritage of the vague understanding; external military officer selection system and methods are also conducted in-depth study to identify what can be learned from them for the research of this paper; insisting on the facet of short of comprehensive appraisal, unscientific selection criteria, out of normative procedure and lack of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, etc .This paper explains a comprehensive, systematic exposition of the credibility of the command officers selected relevant factors and put forward an idea to solve the problem.Enhancement of the credibility in the selection command officers can provide strong organizational guarantee and personnel support for the armed police force to function the mission effectively. It became a real problem for us to solve. Therefore, the author finds that the problems can be solved effectively by establishing the check committee, regulating the check standard, using extensive the technology of human resources development, completing the intendance mechanism of the selection and improving the credibility of assessments. Facts have proved that these views which can enhance the credibility in the selection command officers have useful pertinence and maneuverability.
