Interest group politics is a common phenomenon of the Western industrial democracies in the aspect of democracy and the main social basic of modern United States of democracy. The study of interest group politics in the U.S. and the political arena in the real performance of maturity makes it difficult to grasp its political impact of the United States. And In the modern American political life, the activity of interest groups in the modern campaign in the United States has provided us with a better perspective, that is, to explore the interest groups'far-reaching impact in American politics from those election campaigns.Firstly, this paper sets out the overall formation background of interest groups in the United States and analyzed the Synonymous concepts—interest groups and pressure groups to get the main content of this paper. First of all, in the U.S. two-party environment, political parties and interest groups were compared for similarities and differences, and the reasons for the formation of interest groups are researched from the United States constitutional, two-party system, electoral system and so on In this environment, the main activity of interest groups, is to carry out lobbying and influence on the election. The surge in the number of interest groups, in the lobby and influence of modern election campaigns, makes the Congress had restricted the activities of interest groups by means of enacting relatively restricting laws and regulations. Secondly, the article analyzes the use of modern mechanisms and the main way in which interest groups influence the U.S. election campaign. To express the aspirations and interests of group members and maintain political influence, interest groups often set up their own political action committee by means of fund-raising and donations, reviewing the council members of Congress and mobilizing grass-roots voters to participate in a modern election campaign. Finally, the article emphasizes two aspects of the positive and negative from the analysis of the influence of interest groups on modern American election campaign. Positive effects include the functions of making up deficiencies in the region and complementing political parties; negative effects include increasing modern America's "money politics", and the corruption and injustice in the election process.
