The biggest national condition of our country that China is and will still be at the primary stage of socialism for a long time decides that the phenomenon of exploitation will still exist, in some degree and to certain extent, in our economy and society for a long time. The phenomenon of exploitation at the present stage is conducive to the development of social productive forces of our country , however, it may inhibit the activity and creativity of employees at the same time .Therefore, while we are encouraging the development of non–public economies, we should regulate, control and guild the exploitation in non–public economies. As the existence of this phenomenon is based on the special national condition—the primary stage of socialism, it must be temporary and transient. With the development of productive forces, our country will step into the advanced stage of socialism from the primary stage, therefore the phenomenon of exploitation will eventually die out. This is historical dialectics: the existence of it being allowed now is just for the purpose of eliminating it in the future. At the primary stage of socialism, it is fairly important to deal with this problem by the standard of"Three Favorables"in the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. There are four parts in this thesis:Chapter 1 is intended to expound the classic Marxism writers'opinions about exploitation from three aspects: the definition and standard, origins and types, and the role exploitation played in history.Chapter 2 discusses the objectivity and inevitability of the existence of exploitation and its basic representation, and further analyzes the reason why it exists at present stage in our country.Chapter 3 talks about that the basic completion of socialist transformation of the system of ownership marks the annihilation of system of exploitation in China. It further discusses the nature and characteristics of the phenomenon of exploitation which exists in China's society and economy at present.Through the discussion of the role exploitation has played in the social and economic development of China, Chapter 4 discusses how we should understand and treat the phenomenon of exploitation at present stage in our country correctly. The thesis points out that the primary stage of socialism does not represent the whole socialism, for the present phenomenon of exploitation in our country is of historical transition.
